Presentation
Joe Bouchard K1VW provided a very informative presentation on the digital modes, DMR, D-Star and Fusion.
Announcements
Dave AA1LO announced that WR1C, Art had passed away and his widow has donated equipment to be used in the spirit of Ham Radio. Bill KB1CAT asked if any more interest and members wishing to order Club shirts to see him after the meeting.
Approval of June Meeting Minutes

Treasurer’s Report
Treasurer unable to attend meeting so postponed vote until October meeting.
Public Information Officer’s Report
Rick KB1ASM reported that he has posted updates on the W1YCA website and on the Maine Ham Radio Society [Facebook page].

Old Business
Summer recap of Field Day, Harbor Fest and the Trolley Museum. All the events were well attended by members and guests.
The upcoming Apple Fest Event was discussed, and it was agreed that the Club would participate again this year.

New Business
Approval of new member George Kaczowka N1GSK. 1st Bill KB1CAT and 2nd Rob AA1BS to approve George as a new member. Voted on and approved by members present.
Susan Richardson reported on her work with SCORE regarding our Articles of Incorporation. The application will be mailed to the Secretary of State by the Club President Susan Richardson, after it is signed by officers or members of the club.
Riding the Continuous Wave
Dave AA1LO and ED K1RID reported that the net is still running on Thursday evenings at 1900hrs on 7.118.
Radio Roundtable
Dave provided an update on the trailer for the tower being stored at the Wells Highway Dept. Dave will meet with the company donating trailer next week. Will update at the next Club meeting.
Door Prize
A member won the door prize by raffle.
