November 2025 Meeting Minutes

Meeting was called to order at 3 PM by Club President Susan Richardson

Presentation

Presentation: Rick Alderette presented a video (Beaming Maine) on satellite communications. The presentation showed tracking programs software and resources for satellite communications.

Approval of the Prior Meeting Minutes

• Approval of the September and October Meeting Minutes: September minutes 1^st Ed K1RID 2^nd Tony AA3HD approved by the members present.
• October Minutes 1^st Ed k1RID 2^nd Ernie KB4EFX approved by the members present.

Treasurers Report

Ernie reported checking account $1233.25 with a $20.00 deposit and additional $20.00 to be made.

Public Information Officers Report

Rick KB1ASM reported postings on our Facebook Page and Waterboro Reporter.

1^st Taylor KE2EBR and 2^nd Brad KC1JMH approved by members present.

Old Business

DMR Net will be on 2^nd and 4^th Wednesdays at 7 PM. VE update, Jack K1NKS will have more information for our next meeting in December.

Radio repairs for the Icom 751. Several members will look into alternatives for repairs and report back at the December meeting.

New Business

New member applicant, David Campbell voted on for membership
1^st Rick KB1ASM and 2^nd Tayor KE2EBR approved by members present.

Will talk in December about voting for Club Officers whose term will expire.

Riding the Continuous Wave

Thursdays at 7PM on 40 meters 7.118 all are invited to check in.

Radio Roundtable

Open discussion on all things ham radio.

Door Prize

A member won the door prize by raffle.
